Introduction: Traditional Coarse Wheat Dumplings With Green Veg
ingredients- 3 cups chopped green vegetable (fenugreek, spinach or any other)
4 cups of coarsly ground wheat flour. ( pilsbury multigrain flour can also be used)
red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
asafoetida -1/2 teaspoon
turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
coriander powder- 1 tablespoon
garlic pods -5 to 6 ( crushed)
vegetable oil - 4 table spoonfuls
Curd - 1/2 litre
Maggie Tamarind chutney ( readily available)
chat masala
Procedure- Wash and chop the green vegetable, put it in coarse wheat flour. The add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, asafoetida, oil and knead a dough.
Make equal size balls from the dough or any other shapes you like.
Microwave high for 3 minutes.
Shallow fry them in about 3-4 tablespoonfuls of oil.
Serve with curd and tamarind chutney, sprinkle chat masala over it.
