Trafic Counter

Introduction: Trafic Counter

This project is make to keep safety distance

I learn everything from :https://www.instructables.com/Easiest-Traffic-Counter-Using-Arduino/

Step 1: Prepare All the Materials

1.Arduino

2.Power Cord (for Arduino)

3.Breadboard Ultrasonic sensor

4.Male to Male wires (4)

Try to build them together

Step 2: This Is the Code

//source example: mechatronics

// defines pins numbers const int trigPin = 9; const int echoPin = 10;

// defines variables

long duration;

int distance;

float counter = 0;

void setup() { pinMode(trigPin, OUTPUT);// Sets the trigPin as an Output

pinMode(echoPin, INPUT);// Sets the echoPin as an Input

Serial.begin(9600);// Starts the serial communication }

void loop() { // Clears the trigPin

digitalWrite(trigPin, LOW);

delayMicroseconds(3);//改

// Sets the trigPin on HIGH state for 10 micro seconds

digitalWrite(trigPin, HIGH);

delayMicroseconds(10);

digitalWrite(trigPin, LOW);

// Reads the echoPin, returns the sound wave travel time in microseconds

duration = pulseIn(echoPin, HIGH);

// Calculating the distance

distance= duration*0.034/2;

// Prints the distance on the Serial Monitor

Serial.print("Distance: ");

Serial.println(distance);

delay(1000);//改

if (distance < 200 && distance > 10){

counter = counter + 1;

Serial.print("Cars: ");

Serial.println(counter);

delay(1000);//改

}

}

    Looking at your picture, I have no idea how your wires are connected. Could you post an image from a different angle?
