Introduction: Transformer Weight Lat Machine(Gym Machine)

About: i mainly focus on turning junk stuff into some productive stuff.

Hi guys,in this Metal Working Contest i will be showing you how an old power transformers and a lot of other metal scrap can be put in to GREAT use and benefit us.So instead of throwing away old transformer and other metal scrap,try building or converting it in to gym equipments(dumbell,lat machine etc).Also gym equipments are very expensive to buy,so in future try converting your old metal scrap it into gym equipment.

BUT BEFORE STARTING WITH THE INSTRUCTABLE, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT AS I DON'T OWN A PROFESSIONAL CAMERA AND TOOLS,SO CERTAIN IMAGES MAY NOT BE CLEAR.PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR THAT.BUT I ASSURE YOU THAT YOU WILL EASILY UNDERSTAND MY INSTRUCTABLE.

Step 1: STARTING WITH BASE AND SUPPORT COLUMN

Take a flat tray and place a wooden bar on it.Now fix two support column at the end of wooden bar using angles.

Step 2: BUILDING SLIDER ROD HOLDER

Take a long pipe and cut it in to small parts.Weld those pipes on that small metal base.

Step 3: BUILDING WEIGHT BAR

This is the main part of this machine where the transformer will be added to increase or decrease the weight respectively.The holes on the frame is used to lock the transformer by passing steel string through the hole.

Step 4: FIXING SLIDING ROD AND INSERTING WEIGHT BAR

Now take slider rod holder and fix it on the wooden bar at the bottom.Place slider rod in that holder.Pass weight bar throug the slider rod.Fix the upper part of slider rod again with slider rod holder ont the top wooden bar.Fix the wooden bar on the support column using angles.

Step 5: MOVE THE ENTIRE LAT GYM MACHINE WHERE YOU WANT TO KEEP IT AND FIX THERE.

Now find a good place in you house where you can use it to EXERCISE,build MUSCLES and stay FIT.

In my case i fixed it in my balcony.

Step 6: MAKING ADJUSTMENTS

Hang a pulley right exactly at the top and centre of machine.Pass a rope through that pulley and then tie it to weight bar.Now place transformer on the black plate and lock it using a steel string.Tie the other end of rope to any rod or pipe.

Step 7: AND YESSS YOU HAVE FINISHED WITH THE WORKOUT....

This lat machine can be used for TRICEP PULLDOWN.(as i have only one pulley).

But you can use it as BACK ROWING MACHINE (if you have two pulleys)

BELEIVE ME MY FRIENDS,ITS A WONDER MACHINE,YOU CAN EASILY MAKE IT IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF UNSED SCRAP METAL.
