An easy to make instructable.. (Vote if you like this @ pet constest and @ wookworking contest). Inspired by the series tranformers (autobots/ deceptacons) i decided to try something new and it turned out really well. Then being a pet person i made 2 tags one for my dog and another for my cat . so dog=autobots; cat=deceptacons as if good vs bad... this being opt 1

opt 2 it makes a grt keychain...

Step 1: Step 1

Take 2 pieces of wood, one for each symbol.. Get the symbols from the net and draw it on the wood...

Step 2: Step 2

After drawing or tracing the symbol on the wood pieces with the help of a cutter trace the figure so that when you make the cuts and incisions it will be helpful... the image will help you know what i mean...

Step 3: Step 3

After tracing with a cutter start making the actual cuts more deeper into the wood so that it ll help bring out the shape.. First make a deep cut on the line and then second make the cut in an angle which will help to make the line broader...

Step 4: Step 4

If all is well your wood tag should be taking shape like the image.. after making the image upto satisfaction .. use sand paper to soften the wood and coat it with a wood shiner...

Step 5: Pet Collar Tag

Drill a hole into the tags and join it to a ball chain each suitable for the pet.. and its done...

Step 6: Keychain

If you like it very much make it your personal keychain and most of all to make it better carve out the 2 symbols on front and back of the same wood piece.. so when rotated it ll have both good n bad... and that is how keychain is ....
