Cleaning Your Oil Rubbed Bronze Fixtures.

  • Start with just water – often that is all you need. Dry immediately with a dry clean cloth

Step 1: Scrub

Use a non-abrasive sponge for light scrubbing. Buff dry with a soft cloth. Avoid bleach-based or harsh cleaners.

Step 2: Cleaners

Try a vinegar solution for stubborn stains. Mix 1-part vinegar with 1-part water. Gently rub the mixture onto your fixture with a soft cloth, or soak a paper towel in the mixture and leave it on the fixture for about 15 minutes. Important – test the vinegar solution by applying with a q-tip on a more hidden spot on the fixture.

Step 3: Stubborn Stains

Try a vinegar solution for stubborn stains. Mix 1-part vinegar with 1-part water. Gently rub the mixture onto your fixture with a soft cloth, or soak a paper towel in the mixture and leave it on the fixture for about 15 minutes.
