Tug Rope Dog Toy

A sturdy, colorful tug toy, that's inexpensive and easy to make.

Supplies

• 5 pieces of polyester rope (24" each)
• 2 rubber bands
• lighter
• clamp

Step 1:

Tie one end of rope together with rubber band.

Step 2:

Braid the three pieces of rope together and tie off other end with rubber band.

Step 3:

Tie one piece of rope into a hitch knot onto each end of the braided rope.

Step 4:

Melt rope so knot won't come loose.

Step 5:

Hold together melted rope with a clamp or pliers until melted rope cools.

Step 6:

Enjoy playing with your dog!
