This is a simple way to have a cute lamp that matches any room decor. You can use almost any lamp base and lamp shade.

Step 1: Supplies

1 - Lamp base and lamp shade. Almost any size and shape will work. Easy to find at a local thrift store.

2 - Tulle. Mix and match any colors! Glitter tulle is available but glitter comes off easy.

3 - Scissors.

Step 2: Cut Tulle

On the lamp shade measure from the top wire to the bottom wire, add 6 inches to allow for tying.

I use a small tote lid and wrap the tulle around it and cut all layers at once.

1 - Tie the end of a strip of tulle to the top wire.

2 - Tie the other end to the bottom wire.

After you have finished tying the tulle trim any extra from the bottom.

Place the lamp shade on the lamp base and enjoy!

Depending on the base you can decorate it with tulle.
