Tunable Guitar_Salo

Introduction: Tunable Guitar_Salo

Right now you are about to construct a simple tunable guitar. It’s really easy to make, does not require much materials, lastly it worth every job and materials you spend. It really compact, has 4 strings.

Step 1: Materials

  • Box
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Box Cutter
  • Long rubber bands
  • Safety Glasses
  • Safety Gloves

Step 2: Step 1

Cut a box to the rectangular shape however you want the size to be.

Step 3: Step 2

Now cut a hole on the top, you can either make it a circle as its in regular guitar but i made it rectangular shaped.

Step 4: Step 3

Now we have you make the neck. Just cut of for rectangle shaped carton and glue it together, it's going to be the neck.

Step 5: Step 4

Now let's glue the neck to the body. You just simply line up the top of the neck with the top of the body of the guitar.

Step 6: Step 5

Now let's make the nut. I just got a piece of carton and folded it in two and glued it together. There’s my nut.

Step 7: Step 6

Now, let's glue the nut to the neck and the body as shown in the picture.

Step 8: Step 7

Now we are making kind of holes on the nut so the spring or the rubber band stayed tied in place.

Step 9: Step 8

Let's add the rubber band finally. To make the secure just make holes on the body and put rubber bands inside the holes and glue it in place.

Step 10: Step 9

Adding the rubber bands on the head is little bit harder, because as you gluing you also have to tune it. So just glue it with more glue and wait till glue dries completely or else the rubber band will stretch back.

Step 11: Step 10

Adding the frets to our guitar. Just get a piece of carton and without folding it glue it on the neck make sure it's at least three times thinner than the nut.

Step 12: We Are Done

Your final product should look like this or even better than this.

If you want to you can of course add some extras to it, and also decorate it.
