This is a some what simple recipe for icing and cookies in a form of a turkey.

Ingredients for cookies:
Actually I don't make my own cookies I get philsbery rolls they work fine but if you want a good recipes go to www.allrecipe.com

Ingredients for icing: 5 tablespoons of meringue powder 3/4 tablespoon of cream of tartare 3/4 cups of warm water 2 pounds of powdered sugar 2 tablespoons of light corn syrup 1 tablespoon of glycerin 12 drops of gel food coloring or colored food coloring

1st With or risk 5 tablespoons meringue powder and 3/4 tablespoons of cream of tartare with 3/4 cups of warm water mix for about 30 seconds until lumps are gone

2nd. In a separate bowl sift 2 pounds of powdered sugar

3rd add The water mix in to the powdered sugar and mix it for about a minute to get all combine then add 2 tablespoons of light corn syrup a tablespoon of Glycerin and 12 drops of gel food color or colored food coloring.

4th The icing on medium 6-8 minutes until you make stiff peaks pause and scrape down the sides of the bowl while mixing.

You can get meringue powder and glycerin at craft stores. You can substitute meringue powder for powdered eggs.

Ingredient for tails: different color of candy melt I prefer red,orange, and yellow for the tail.And stick Pretzels

Take the candy melts and melt then in the microwave for 4 handfuls of melts for 90 second. Mix and then put into a bag or a piping tube. Pipe in the shape of a teardrop pipe on wax paper.

Pipe the candy melts the way the picture shows. You can put it in any shape you really want to. I put it in squiggles theres anything you really want You could make it. You could also just line the pretzels with candy melts

Step 1: Mix the Icing Lightly Together

Mix the icing lightly will create this Tie-dye look so if you want it to look like a turkey use brown red yellow and orange. After that spread on the cookies evenly. And let harden for 10 minuets
