Introduction: Turkish Pita Bread

I am going to show how to make a tasty Turkish Breakfast Pita that'll be finger lickin good to eat every breakfast.

Supplies

Ingredients:

1. 1 tbsp yogurt

2. 1 egg

3. 1/4 cup olive oil

4. 400 ml. milk (warm)

5. 1 tbsp yeast

6. 1/4 tsp salt

7. 1 tbsp sugar

8. 4 cups flour

For on top:

1. 1 Egg yolk

2. 1 tbsp olive oil

3. Black seed

4. Sesame

Step 1: Making the Dough

Get a bowl and put in the egg white, yogurt, olive oil, warm milk, yeast, sugar, and salt. Then mix it. Little by little add the flour. It is going to be soft and it sticks to your hand a little bit. Then wait 1 hour for the dough to rise.


Step 2: Shaping and Topping the Dough

Spread the flour on the table then put the dough on the table and knead. Split it in to 2 equal pieces then get a circle tray and put in a parchment paper. Put 1 piece of dough in the tray. Mix the egg yolk and olive oil put some on your hand then pat the dough repeat this util it is shaped like a circle and is covered with the egg yolk and olive oil. Then shape it like in the second picture. Put sesame seeds on the edges and put sesame seeds and black seeds in the middle. Repeat with the other piece of dough.

Step 3: Baking Time!

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit then put in the tray. Wait until it is like in the picture or for 30-40 minutes. Then voila, you have a tasty Turkish Breakfast Pita.
