Turn Your Broken Laptop Into a Desktop

I had my old Acer Aspire 5054wxmi since late 2007, and it was working fine for 3 years until it developed a faulty heatsink fan, and the system's temprature went up to 77 degrees c(not f). I then found out that I could no longer use it as my everyday PC.

So while I was looking around on ebay, an idea struck me. "Why not turn it into a desktop! You have the keyboard and mouse ready, right?", I thought.
