Introduction: Turtle Made Out of Mild Steel
This is a turtle I made for my girlfriend as she loves turtles. I made it out of 80mm solid round bar which was then cut in half then shaped with a grinder using a blue soft pad. I mig welded the head, flippers and tail onto it. I did this as work was slow at the time and gave me something to do and so happy with the outcome of it :) I the hung it up and powder coated lacker onto it to stop it from rusting and the lacker made it look so much better after it was done :D hope you enjoyed looking at the photos

That's awesome! Bet you GF loved it :) That's cool that you did it with a grinder; I assumed it was cast somehow.
