P a t t e r n: 19" around and 5" wide

Cast on 22 sts on 6US double-pointed needle.

Part 1: Repeat row 1-4 for 7.5 inches

R1: K1, P7, SM, K1, P4, K1, SM, P7, K1

R2: K1, C3L, K1, C3R, SM, K1, Sl1, K2, Sl1, K1, SM, C3L, K1, C3R, K1

R3: K1, P7, SM, K1, P4, K1, SM, P7, K1

R4: K8, SM, K1, Sl1, K2, Sl1, K1, SM, K8

When you obtain 7.5 inches, separate sts equally on 2 needles (12 sts each).

Part 2: Take the left needle on the right side of the project and repeat the following rows for 4 inches.

R1: K1, P7, SM, K1, P2

R2: K1, Sl1, K1, SM, C3L, K1, C3R, K1

R3: K1, P7, SM, K1, P2

R4: K1, Sl1, K1, SM, K8

Part 3: Take the right needle on the right side of the project and repeat the following rows for 4 inches. (you'll have to cut the yarn to start on that side)

R1: P2, K1, SM, P7, K1

R2: K1, C3L, K1, C3R, SM, K1, Sl1, K1

R3: P2, K1, SM, P7, K1

R4: K8, SM, K1, Sl1, K1

Cross the 2 pieces and combine on one needle.

For the last 7.5 inches of the project, repeat:

R1: P2, K1, SM, P7, K2, P7, SM, K1, P2

R2: K1, Sl1, K1, SM, C3L, K1, C3R, K2, C3L, K1, C3R, SM, K1, Sl1, K1

R3: P2, K1, SM, P7, K2, P7, SM, K1, P2

R4: K1, Sl1, K1, SM, K16, SM, K1, Sl1, K1

Combine the 2 ends together & voilà you've got your own twisted cable headband.
