This is an easy to do repalcement cap for a USB flash drive using a mouse or keyboard PS2 to USB adapter and simple tools. Project can be completed in about 5 minutes.

Step 1: Measure Cutting Line

Measure and mark a line about 5/8" from the USB end.

Step 2:

Cut the adapter on the line, then sand end and round the corners as needed.

Step 3:

Now you have a new sturdy cap that is harder (but not impossible) to lose.
