Introduction: USING SYSTEM RESTORE

System restore first appeared in windows me, and it gives you the opportunity to return your pc to a state in which it was working in a satisfactory manner,
Therefore undoing things that may have caused problems.

Step 1: USING SYSTEM CHECK POINTS

First go to the start menu, and then chose all programs, accessories, ad finally system restore

Step 2: CHOSING a RESTORE POINT

You have 2 choices here. The first is to restore to a time that has been determined by your computer, or you can create your own restore point.

If you have a problem with your pc at the moment, select the restore my computer to an earlier time radio button and then click on next at the bottom of the window.

Step 3: CHOSE a DATE

A calendar appears. In the below example, no restore points have been created by the user - only system checkpoints are available these are shown as slightly bolder numbers in the calendar.

To restore your computer to one of these dates, click on the number and then the next button.

Before you continue, you will be asked to make sure you don’t have any applications open at this time. When you are ready, click the next button.

Your computer begins the restore routine, which will take a wile, your computer will then automatically restart.
