Single Box-box Fort

5 easy steps to make a fort out of a single box.

Step 1: Materials

1. 4 by 4 Gaylord cardboard box

2. Blankets and pillows

3. Exacto knife

4. Towel

5. Duct tape

6. Computer (optional)

Step 2: Cutting

Cut a hole about 1 1\2 ft tall and 1 1\2 ft wide for a door.

Step 3: Bedding

Put your blanket and pillow in the new fort for a bed.

Step 4: The Door!

Tape a blanket or towel over the hole to make a door. Held up by tape.

Step 5: Now Your Done!

Congrats you made the one box-box fort. Add some of your own ideas to make it better.

I've looked at many forts and this is by far the best one for me! I want to make it, but I don't heave a 4 by 4 cardboard box. Is there a good substitute for this?

Do you know those tri-folds? You can use those to make the walls, then cover it with a blanket for a roof

it depends on how big the person is if they are small you can use a smaller box maybe you can try to put a couple boxes together for a bigger person.
