Upcycled Bike Frame Wall Light

Introduction: Upcycled Bike Frame Wall Light

Hi! In this instructable i'll show you how i made this cool wall light. The light is made from an old bike frame and some leftover wood.

Step 1: Cutting!

After marking the frame, take the metal saw and cut the frame in half.

Step 2: Pre-assembly

It's now time to start pre-assembling the light. I used a piece of threaded rod and matching nuts to mount the freshly cut remainder of the frame to the wood.

Step 3: Drilling

Mark the tube and then drill the holes to route the cable.

Step 4: Sanding and Painting

I sanded both the frame and the wood. I then painted the frame black.

Step 5: Finish!

It's now time to put everything together. I used a LED bulb with matching holder.
