Introduction: Upcycled Cork Coasters
The way I got the idea of my cork coasters were when I was walking home. I was trying to think of a new instructable. Then I thought why not use the corks that have been sitting in my closet for years. That's when I realized I had a lack of things to put my drinks on. So I thought of these.
Step 1: Materials
Materials:
1)Corks (Preferably the same size for every single one)
2)A hot glue gun (or a stronger glue)
3)If you don't have a glue gun then you probably don't have hot glue sticks. Make sure to buy those
4)Also if you're doing this on a table you like put something under it like a cutting board or a news paper

Step 2:
While your waiting for your hot glue gun to warm up, arrange the corks in a pattern like this. This will give you an idea on what it will look like later when your product is finished.
Step 3:
then glue the corks like this. These will make the rows of your cork coasters. Make sure you glue them like this. It will help you later.
Step 4:
Then glue them like this and glue the two halves together for your coaster. You're almost done just one more step until you're done.
Step 5:
Then reinforce ONLY one side with hot glue. I can't stress this enough. Make sure you just fill in the cracks in one side. Then let it dry and you have your coasters!
Step 6: Final Product
When you're done you should have something like this. I hope you enjoyed the instructable I created.
