Introduction: VANITY MIRROR

About: I am an artist living and teaching ART in NYC for over 30 years, and I am a CZT, Certified Zentangle Teacher. I love to explore all sorts of art making both in my teaching and in my own work...check out my sit…
My daughter moved a few months and I wanted to make her a mirror for her new bathroom. I used the pieces that I created in my COLLAGE A BROOCH Instructable and designed the frame.

Step 1: Supplies

12X12 mirror tile
12X12 cardboard
Brooches
jewels
ribbon
glue

Step 2: Collage a Brooch

Look at my Instructables and find COLLAGE A BROOCH

Make a bunch of them, you do not have to add the pin back.

Step 3: Backing

Glue the cardboard to the back of the mirror this gives the mirror piece more support. If you want to hang the mirror attach a piece of ribbon secure with tape and then glue cardboard on back.

Step 4: Glass Jewels

I found some beautiful glass jewels that I chose to add to the mirror

Step 5: Glue

Alternating between the collage pieces that I made and the
jewels I glued the pieces to the mirror to create the frame.

Step 6: Done

done, its hard to take a photo of a mirror without showing up in it!
