VCR Robot Wars.
This little desktop gadget is a really fun and cool thing to do to entertain yourself when you are bored.
The VCR Robot Wars is, as you may have guessed, made out of an old VCR.The actual robots themselves are made using some various part from the internals of the VCR. The 2 robots are attached onto the pulleys on the inside, which when you turn a cog at the back, the robots turn opposite ways and fight each other!
(Check out the 3rd and 4th pictures for a view of the mechanism of how the pulley turns the robots)

STEP 1: Materials
These are the materials you are going to need.
Tools:
Pliers
Hammer
Small/big flathead screwdriver
Scissors
Zipties (Small, medium and large)
Compass + Pencil
Pencil/marker
You may use a dremel if you wish.

STEP 2: Disassembling
This step will show you how to take your VCR, and disassemble it.

STEP 3: Attaching Parts to the Mechanism
This is how to attach some parts of the VCR to the main mechanism.

This is how to make the holes for where the pulleys come out the top of the casing.
