These Valentine's Day Pom-Pom Monsters are a perfect craft for kids. They are so cute and a great craft for Valentine's Day.

Supplies

First you need to gather all of your supplies. You will need yarn, i used a fluffy kind, but you don't have to. You will also need 2 pipe cleaners, 2 googly eyes, scissors, felt, and a hot glue gun. If you are doing this craft with young kids, help them with the hot glue gun so they don't get hurt.

Step 1: Wrapping the Pom-pom

Start with your yarn and wrap it around two of your fingers 40 to 60 times. If you want a bigger pom-pom, wrap closer to 60 times. It should look something like this, i wrapped my yarn around my finger 60 times.

Step 2: Finishing the Pom-pom

Carefully slide the pom-pom off of your fingers. Cut yourself a 6-inch piece of yarn, roughly. lay the piece of yarn on your table and the pom-pom on top of it. Then tie the piece of yarn making sure it is in the middle of your pom-pom. It should look like this. Then slide your scissors into one side of the yarn, if you are younger, and it's too difficult, ask your parents for a little help. Then cut both sides of the pom-pom without cutting the string we just tied. Once you have cut both sides, it should look something like this. It will look a little bumpy so you can clean up the edges with your scissors.

Step 3: Googly Eyes+ Feet

Start by warming up your hot glue gun. Make sure you are being careful, so you don't burn yourself. Then place your googly eyes where you want and add hot glue to keep the eyes on. Grab a piece of felt and fold it in half. Then draw a heart with a sharpie on the edge. Then cut it out to look like this. Grab a piece of felt and fold it in half. Then hotglue it on the bottom to look like feet.

Step 4: Accesories

Grab two pipe cleaners and fold them each in half and then create hearts to look like this. You will have extra pipe cleaner on the end, i just cut it to the length i wanted. Then hot glue them for ears.

Step 5: Final Product

Now you have a cute little Valentine's Day Pom-Pom Monster. Go ahead and add any customizations now or leave it how it is. You could always make them with more colors too!
