Introduction: Vase

Right now you are about to begin. You are going to start creating a vase!

Step 1: Creating the Base

First, go into the sketch tab and click the circle tool. Select the center diameter circle. Start at the origin and add a dimension of 200 mm. Then, click stop sketch.

Step 2: Add a Construction Plane

Next, you need to go into the construct tab. Click on the offset plane tool. Then, click on the circle and drag the plane up 150 mm.

Step 3: Adding a Sketch to the Construction Plane

Next, go into the sketch tab and click on polygon. Select the circumscribed polygon. Click on the construction plane and give the shape the dimensions of 150 mm.

Step 4: Lofting the Shapes

Next, go into the create tab and select the loft tool. Click on the circle and polygon. You can then move the points to make the to make the shape look rotated. I rotated all of them counter clockwise. This makes the final product of the vase look really cool.

Step 5: Adding More Shapes and Lofts

Next, add another construction plane by going into the construct tab. You then want to select the offset plane tool. Then, select the polygon and drag the plane up 200 mm.

Step 6: Adding a Box Sketch

Next, go into the sketch tab and select the center rectangle tool. Add the dimensions of 250 mm by 250 mm.

Step 7: Adding Another Loft

Then, you go back into the create tab and select the loft tool. You then want to select the top of the polygon and the box. Then, like last time, you can rotate the points to make the vase look cooler. As you can see, I rotated the points to the edges of the square.

Step 8: Adding One More Shape

Next, go into the sketch tab and select the polygon shape again. But this time, add a dimension of 200 mm. You will place it on another offset plane you make above 200 mm above the square.

Step 9: Adding a Shell and a Fillet

Finally, select the top and add a shell to the vase. The shell tool is the modify tab. Add a shell and type in 25 mm as the dimensions. Next, go back into the edit tab and select fillet this time. While holding control, select all the outside top edges. Add a fillet of 5 mm.

Step 10: Other Things You Can Add

And you are done! Now that you are done, you can make different things you can put inside of the vase. For example, I made two different flowers. This can also be a great gift to someone, and at the same time, you could be showing off how you know how to use Fusion 360.
