‘Laddu’ the sweets popular in Indian subcontinent are made using cows ghee, chick flour and sugar in the form of balls. Similarly, we may be familiar with mungbean cakes which is a special sweet from Chinese origin.Here I am making use of yellow peas, another high protein legume grain for making a sweet snack.

Step 1: Ingredients and Method

Pea flour is not commonly available in market and one has to get it ground from dry peas. Such small scale or domestic grinding mills are not available outside Indian subcontinent. Alternatively, dry yellow peas can be soaked overnight, made into paste using wet grinder at home. Here are the ingredients and steps .
