this is a fix i did for my watch yesterday.
my casio gshock has been through a lot, and as robust as these watches are, the rubberised strap tends to crack ( in places where they are subjected to stress on a regular basis) after a few years. I didn't have the cash to go out and have it replaced, coz, it involves changing the entire casing moulded water resistant casing.

Step 1: Materials Required

1) Tubes of Araldite or any other super bonding agent you prefer.
don't bother with quick setting glues , for some reason they don't work on the rubberised surface of the watch strap
2) Bit of Velcro, cut it to roughly the width of your watch strap
3) A pair of Scissors
4) A small vice in which you can leave the strap (held firmly)for 24hrs (for the epoxy to dry)
5)sandpaper

Step 2: Glue Velcro to Watch

sand the part of the watch that you will be using the glue on.
glue the velcro to the watch like so

NOTE: use the rough hook part of the Velcro on the watch, so that when you wear it, its facing away from your skin

Step 3: Glue Velcro to Strap Piece

sand the part of the strap that you will be using the glue on.
glue the other velcro bit to the strap like so

NOTE: use the soft fuzzy part of the velcro on the strap, so that when you wear it, its facing your skin, when you wear it

Step 4: Put It Together in the Vice

place them like this and put it in the vice, so it doesnt slide around.. leave it there for 24 hrs

Step 5: Done

sand off any charp edges, and your good to go.

you can use either the Velcro fastner or the belt buckle to strap it on or off your wrist.
