Intro: Very Simple Reusable Fuse

It's very simple to make reusable fuse. In this instructable i will show how to.

STEP 1:

Tools:
scissors
bad fuse
wire
drill bit
drill

STEP 2: Prepare Fuse

First you need to drill small holes in fuse.

STEP 3: Making the Reusable Fuse

Strip wire end and remove one copper wire.

STEP 4: You're About Done

Remove one thin wire from thick wire and poke that trought fuse holes. If you put thicker wire then you will get higher amperage fuse.

STEP 5: Done

Wrap thin wire around fuse metal ends and you are done. I get about 4A fuse.

Sorry to say, but science and "about" not going together.

This fuse "repair" is not recommended, because you can burn your house. Plus glass type fuse's are really cheap and there is no need to repair it. Sorry for not going with "be nice" police, but this is just dangerous.

This reusable fuse is not designed to handle high voltage. I use it for 12v and it works perfectly. For 220v outlet i use low amperage circuit breaker so i'm safe:-D

I reccomend to use seporate automatic circuit breaker for that outlet witch you use to experiment with 220v so if you short the wires then circuit breaker will safely interrupt the circuit and no fire.
