WELCOME Plywood Board With Stained Glass Artwork

Since the time I moved into my new home, I am constantly looking for creative ways to decorate my home. WELCOME sign was the top of my list. As always I was looking for some unique decoration ideas and the 'Stained Glass Painting' just clicked. You are WELCOME to see how I made this beautiful design.

Supplies

8 ft Plywood

Measuring tape

Pencil

Ruler

Acrylic Colors (White, Green, Red, Yellow, Black)

Black Gel Pen

Eraser

Step 1: Preparing the Board

I cut the 8 ft board into 2 4 ft each and then glued them together. Let it sit overnight and painted it white (Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of these). Then, I wrote WELCOME in the stained glass design using a measuring tape, pencil and pen as seen in the images.

Step 2: Adding Red Shades

Then, carefully I added brown, red and orange colors for the letters W, L, O & E

Step 3: Adding Green Shades

Simultaneously I added dark and light green and yellow color for the letter E, C & M.

Step 4: Stained Glass Black Borders

Lastly I added the stained black borders with black. Let it dry or a day and then placed it in front of my door.
