Intro: WW2 K'nex Spitfire V3.0

STEP 1: Making the Nose of the Plane

There is also a rubberband in the nose to give the prop a nice swing ,but you can also go for the upgrade whit a motor ,step 6. Right now could also do the Cockpit Upgrade ,step 7.

Some times there are more instructions in the notes so look there too.

STEP 2: Making the Tail

The tail of the spitfire just follow the pictures and you'll be fine.

Picture 3 instead of blue bendable rod use normal rods. So the tail is in a better straight line.
Picture 6 the wheel is a 1 inch wheel of plastic.

STEP 3: Making the Wings

Make 2 of these only one the opposite.

There is also another idea for the guns for that you need to take a look at step:8 more for the look.

STEP 4: Pute It Al Together

Just follow the pictures. And the notes that go whit it.

STEP 5: If You Want to Hang the Plane on the Ceiling Like Me.

It is best to use a simple nylon cord. When you cute a piece of it use a lighter to meld the ends. So the ends don't unravel (if that how you call it). And when the balance point as you like. Hang it up some where. I did it above my bed. Or do something else with it.

STEP 6: The Engine Update

still better than a rubberband and much cooler and goes faster

STEP 7: Cockpit Upgrade

This is the cockpit upgrade. I think it's a nice finishing touch.

STEP 8: Little Changes

Little changes. Just fallow the pictures and notes in it.

Later this year ill redo the plane. Maybe ill be able to add more detail and give the wings better shape. As my final Knex project.

Ill be sure to renew the instructable. And if you got any points of view about what wasn't clear, please react to this comment what it was. So i won't repeat the mistake.

Rip I don't have the small blue rods, so I just used the solid white rods...

I want to see that to. I would never be able to build this stuff because I have a limited amount of K'NEX.

i have to agree XD since building something whit knex is somewhat limited. It's hard to get the right shapes out of it. To make it somekind of a look alike,
and if you made the nose different they would pritty much match =)
