Walnut Shelf

This walnut tree was cut down from the field behind our house. Our neighbor had asked if I had any use for it and I took it home. I ripped it into boards using an Alaskan Mill with my chainsaw. I then dried the boards out in our garage. I then cut the boards down to size and took this rasp to make it a smoother finish. After I had the shelf assembled, I then put a high gloss on it to help keep the bark on and give it a shine.
