Waste Oil Heater Spark
Intro: Waste Oil Heater Spark
The waste oil heater is small prefabricated stove perfect for premises to 50 sq/m. The so called Spark model is inspired by russian designs. Tested with reduced air flow it burns 400 ml of oil for 40 min. The burning chamber can handle up to 3 litres with one loading - 5 hours non stop working. You can pour more oil while burning. It's safe becouse the oil do not burns, his vapor do. Optional drop feed from oil tank can be installed.
The stove is lightweight and cheap, easy to operate with only three replaceable parts. This means that the oil tank, the perforated burning chamber and the chimney box can be replaced, helping cleaning the ashes. Checkout the video.

Well, it's waste oil and didn't think to make it eco friendly. :) It is
simple to make with replaceable parts. It burns less oil than russian
model on the net. Small workshops, garages will be happy to have one. I
already made few for clients. Now there is a new design with build in
fan. I simply want to register and patent it in US, because it's very
simple and efficient. If you heat 50 sq/m premise with this stove, the
new model will warm up almost 100 sq/m. And it can be turned and used as
wood, pellet, brickettes, coal burner etc.

I love this simple design. Thanks for posting it. I am a bit confused about #3, the joining ring. What is the reason for not just welding the pipe straight onto the base? Perhaps I am misunderstanding?

dear friend,
do you have any clues on how to use pellets in it, gravity feeded?

I made a drip feeded stove which is very stable and economic. I have few photos and soon I will load a plan here. The old model is very simple waste oil stove. It is inspired by Russian design where everything is manual and simple. Tip and trix with the old model. Load a 50 ml of oil for start. Pour more and more when the stove become hot. The smoke means low heat. On 10 liters of waste oil pour 200 ml water. It will boost the burning.
