Intro: Water Bottle Hampster Tunnel

An easy to make hampster tunnel made from 4 small water bottles.

Materials:
4 small water bottles
Crazy Glue
Permanent Markers

STEP 1: Step 1. Cut Bottles

Cut bottoms off of bottles. Make sure you cut at the wide point on the bottom so that it has the largest opening possible.

Cut tops off bottles where it starts to curve.

STEP 2: Step 2. Glue Bottles

Put a bead of crazy glue around the inside edge of the large opening of one bottle. Insert the small opening (where you cut the top off) of another bottle and hold in place while glue dries.

Repeat this with the rest of the bottles forming a tube.

STEP 3: Step 3. Decorate!

take the markers and design to your liking.

DO NOT USE SUPER GLUE!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WILL KILL THE HAMSTER!!!!!!!
I would try but my brothers hamster perished...
Woops. Finishing the thought above ... Don't leave it in the cage.
ummm...wouldn't the hamster just eat through the plastic and maybe get sick?
The interior walls are smooth enough that the hampster can't sink it's teeth in. You just need to make sure the joints between bottles are bonded smoothly. That being said, the kids use it while playing with the hampster out of the cage. We don't leave it in the cage as it would likely check
