Intro: Watercolor Sketch Box

This box is made of an old vcr box and a pantyhose.

STEP 1: Making Elastic Yarn From a Pantyhose

This is super easy. Cut off a leg of the pantyhose. Cut into the top and cut round and round until you reach the foot. The strip should be about 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide. Pull the strip, it curls up. You can now make a yarn ball out of it.

STEP 2: Prepare the Box

Before you can string the elastic string into the box you need to punch holes into it. I used the hole punch BUT it was really hard work! I punched 4 holes into the top, three on left and right side of the box and two really close to each other into the bottom side.

STEP 3: String the Box

String the box, fill it up, go outside and CREATE.
