Intro: Waxing Eyebrows Tutorial

Waxing can be challenging for everyone; I took this as a chance to show everyone how simple it can be if you use my step-by-step instructions. I'll show you how easy it can be to use wax without struggling. Waxing is much more efficient than tweezing and threading; you get a lot more hair off in less time! Once you start waxing, you won't want to stop. Learning how to use wax has made me feel more confident in using wax for removing more than eyebrow hair. My step-by-step instructions will help you too.

STEP 1: Turn the Wax Pot On

Turn the wax pot onto a warm setting, and wait to use it until completely melted.

STEP 2: Check the Temperature of the Wax

Test the temperature of the wax on the back of your wrist before using it on a client, which will help you control the temperature.

STEP 3: Clean Off the Clients Eyebrows

Before waxing a client's eyebrows, cleanse the eyebrows with a "pre-application cleanser," just as I did in the video.

STEP 4: Map the Eyebrows

Separate the hair you're going to wax, so you will only take off what you need to.

STEP 5: Apply Wax to Separated Area

Apply the wax in the same direction the hair grows and never re-use a wax stick; right after I use the wax, I throw the stick away.

STEP 6: Waxing the Hair

When pulling the wax strip, make sure to pull the skin down and pull it in the opposite direction the hair grows; if there is extra wax left over on the skin, fold your wax strip and use the side without wax to remove it.

STEP 7: Soothing the Skin

This will be the final step; you'll want to use soothing gel to soothe the waxed area after waxing.
