Introduction: Wedding Gown
This is my wedding gown. Currently on display at the Downriver Council for the Arts in Michigan. I had a renaissance themed wedding. I designed, patterned and constructed the gown myself.
The gown is made from 3 Martha Stewart tablecloths (the white with gold fibers woven through), gold and black sari material, black velvet to bind the edges. The trim down the front was a 2" velvet ribbon I cut into the shape, There are close to 200 swarovski crystals draped on the back, as well as many handsewn on to the neckline lace.
