Introduction: Welding Table
Unfortunately I didn't photograph the fabrication of this table in any great detail but thought the concept might be of use to some people. This table cost me about $40.
The steel top I found at the tip. Needed a lot of work but is fine for my purposes. The frame I bought at an auction for $20, the wheels I also got an auction for $10. The bottom shelf was already on the frame and the mesh shelf was actually cut from a cargo barrier for a car! I already had the paint.
I had to muck around with the frame and add a second level. However, I forgot to the top shelf in before I welded the top on - won't do that. As a result, I had to cut the shelf in half to get it in.
I also recommend angle iron for the frame as its great to hang things off, especially angle grinders and clamps. Don't zoom in to closely on my welding - that's why I build the table to help me practice!

Awesome! I weld as well, and most of my under the hood time is with stick, But TIG is great as well.

This is a really cool build! I've been wanting to build one of these for a while. Just out of curiosity, what welder are you using? MIG, TIG, Stick?
