Introduction: What Happens When Oil Water and Food Coloring Go Together

Hi and welcome to an experiment that will be very fun.

Step 1:

Everybody knows that oil has a hard time making friends.

So, I brought my friends water, and food coloring to recreate with it.

Im starting with the oil in the middle so nothing mixes right away.

Step 2: Put Them Together

Fill a glass cup less than halfway with water.

Then put in enough oil so that it is floating nice and thick.

After that put in a few drops of food coloring.

Step 3: Results

You will see that a thin layer will appear at the top.

The food coloring goes right through the oil in to the water.

Step 4: Stir

Stir it together so that it mixes.

Step 5: Results 2

It will turn black for a few moments han return back to normal.

Step 6: All Done
