Great Instructable. I for one will stick to my brushed motors, they are simpler, and brushes are easy and cheap to replace. I would be more likely to toss out a brushless. Now if we could just get the prices of the batteries down to an affordable price!

I talked with a high up rep from Ridgid recently and we discussed brushless drills and he says that he doesn't see Ridgid going that way very soon. They feel that there are still improvements with the batteries that will give them a bigger bang for their buck. I thought that was very interesting to hear.
