Whole wheat flour balls/ Atta Ladoo is a most popular Indian sweet, especially during winters. Wheat flour Ladoo is a Tasty, healthy, fragrant and very easy to prepare tea time snack.

Ingredients:

1.5 cup Wheat flour

1/2 cup powdered sugar or to taste

1/2 cup Ghee or unsalted butter

1/4 Cashews and almonds roughly chopped(optional)

1/2 cup desiccated coconut(optional)

1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder(optional)

Step 1: Step:1

Heat up 1/2 cup of ghee in a pan, add wheat flour and sauté on low heat, stirring continuously, for 5-7 minutes over low heat.

Step 2: Step 2:

Add coconut, chopped almonds, cashew and cardamom powder.

Roast until it turns light brown in colour and you get a roasted aroma and stir constantly.

Step 3: Step 3:

Switch off the heat and take out the roasted flour in a plate allow the mixture to cool down slightly.

Step 4: Step 4:

Add powdered sugar when flour is slightly warm.

Mix well.

Take a small amount of mixture in your hands and Shape the mixture into small round laddus.

Wheat flour ladoos are ready to serve.

Note:

If the mixture appears to be dry and binding ladoo is getting difficult then add some more quantity of ghee (melted) into the mixture and mix well.

Fresh coconut or desiccated coconut any of them can use as per taste as availability.You can also make Atta Laddu without coconut if you don't like its flavour.I used ghee for making ladoos, but you can also use unsalted butter instead of ghee
