Together with my other crochet mate, we crochetted parts of this dress independently and at the end sew it together to have this different type of dress style! It is perfect for wearing at beach on bikini, and keeping yourself fresh under warm sun :3

Supplies

For making this dress, we used thin cotton yarns, 3.5 mm hook and small sized needle to sew. As it took many parts to crochet for making this look like as dress, we needed to used more than 6 yarns.

Step 1:

For making first step done, we needed to crochet this "flower" style of circles, continuing with double stitch. This part is essential and in fundamental of the dressmaking.

Step 2:

Step 2 is to crochet more of this "flower" designed circles and start the other "star" designed circles. While checking the size of body and arms, we decided that 24 of "flower" designed circles and 12 of "star" designed circles will be enough to finish up this project. So we crochetted until we reached the required numbers.

Step 3:

3rd step for us was to start sewing the body part. First, we sew the circles together to make the front part of the dress, then with the same technique we crocheted the back part of the dress. Then, we sew those parts together and had this model without arms part.

Step 4:

Finally, we sew the circles to the arm part as well and finished this project fully. As it took long time to finish this dress, it was tiring process, but for sure one the most exciting project for me!
