Introduction: Whole Wheat Jaggery Chocolate Cookies

Cookies! All time favourite snack and dessert. I could have these at any time of the day! An easy fun recipe with a twist, eggless and healthy whole wheat chocolate cookies. Craving them already! Let's begin.

Supplies

1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Jaggery powder/ Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla essence
1 cup Whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/4 cup Cocoa powder
1 tbsp Corn flour
1/4 cup Milk
Chocolate chips/ chunks of chocolate
A pinch of Salt

Baking Tray
Refrigerator
Spatula
Bowl

Step 1: Gather the Ingredients

Assemble the ingredients in correct quantity so it's easier to mix and bake!

Step 2: Bowl Mixture

Take a big bowl, add butter and jaggery to it and mix well with a spatula. Make sure a fluffy paste it formed then add vanilla essence and mix.

Step 3: Add Dry Components

Add all the dry components in proportion, whole wheat, corn flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, pinch of salt and keep mixing with spatula.

Step 4: Add Milk and Refrigerate

Add milk in the mixture and keep mixing till a thick dough is formed. Then refrigerate this dough for 15 minutes.

Step 5: Grease the Bake Tray

Take a bake tray and grease it well with oil or butter. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 180°C

Step 6: Bake the Cookies

Remove the cookie dough from fridge and make balls. Place them on the greases tray and gentle press. Add choco chips or chucks of chocolate on the top. Put the tray along with cookies in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Step 7: Ready!

Freshly baked chocolate cookies are ready to be served! Enjoy this healthy yet yummy recipe!
