Introduction: Wire Wrapped Beads Bracelet
Before making this bracelet, I had already wire wrapped quite a lot of beads, but always as pendants, never to still be used as beads. So, I thought it would be nice to try that!
I started on these beads as soon as I got the coloured wire, already more than a year ago! I wanted to make it into a present, but I didn't have enough time to finish it, so I made another present and put this one aside. A few days ago, I came across the wire wrapped beads (five were already finished) and I decided it was time to finish it :)
I'm very happy with how this bracelet turned out, I hope you like it as well!
Step 1: Materials
To make a wire wrapped beads bracelet, you will need:
- beads, I used clear beads, but any beads matching the colour of your wire will work, as long as they are not too small
- a closure
- coloured wire
- pliers
- yarn
Step 2: Wrapping the Bead
Start by bending the tip of the wire as shown. Next, place the wire into the plier and bend it back. The first bend is use d to lock the wire to the bead, the second bend to start the wrapping. Add it to the bead and wrap it! When you are done, cut the excess wire off.
Step 3: And Repeat
Repeat last step until you have enough beads for your bracelet.
Step 4: Add Them to the Yarn
When adding the beads to the yarn, there are a few things that could make it easier. Always let the wire enter the bead on the side where you started with wire wrapping it. Also try to keep the tip of the yarn as tight as possible, maybe add a bit of clear nail polish to make it easier.
Step 5: Closure Time
When you have added all the beads, you can also add a closure. Knot it two times to secure it a bit and coil a pice of wire around it. After coiling the wire, cut off the remaining yarn. Repeat this for the other part of the closure.
Step 6: Done!
Now that you have wrapped the beads, added them to the yarn and added a closure, your bracelet is finished!
I hope you liked this instructable and found it useful, if you did I would love to know!

Does the wire get inserted into both ends of the bead. When starting and then again when finishing?
