Introduction: Wontons
This is a recipe I randomly came up with which turned out to be pretty good. They're not traditional wontons in anyway, not even the folding technique, but they are wonton wrappers. That I suppose makes them wontons.
These aren't actually measurements, but you get the just of it.
Utensils:
Small frying pan,
one small bowl
one bigger bowl
two fairly large plates
Ingredients:
Wonton Wrappers, any amount
Chive and Onion cream cheese
Mexican cheese
Diced Onion
1 Green onion
Water (add to smaller bowl)
Step 1: Step 1: Adding Ingredients
On a cutting board, chop up a green onion by first rinsing it off, cutting off the very tips to dispose, and then dicing it to small pieces. Add that to one of your bowls. In that bowl, add your mexican cheese, regular onion, and the cream cheese (amount based on preference. Mix it together. Also, you may also add a bit of pepper to spice it up.
Add some water to the other bowl. This will be used to wet the wrappers.
Step 2: Step 2: Wrapping / Wonton Origami
Now that you have mixed the ingredients, it's time to wrap them up. Add a very small amount of your mix to the wrapper, too large and it'd be difficult to close. Dip your finger in the bowl of water and wet the edges of the wrapper. Take one edge of the wrapper and bring it to the other, forming a triangle. Wet the two bottom edges of the triangular wrap. Push in the middle, bring both edges together, forming a Napoleon colonial hat shape. Press the two edges together.
Step 3: Step 3: Frying
Get out your frying pan and apply some cooking oil. Fit as many wontons as you can to save cooking time. Put the oven at medium heat (4 or 5). Gently slide the wontons in the pan to ensure they don't stick. Keep a close watch on the bottoms. When the bottoms of the wontons start to brown, flip them on their tops. Wait a minute or so and they should be done. Arrange them on your plate, and voila, 10-15 minute wontons are done. For crispier wontons, continue to cook for a few more minutes.

I don't recall picking paleo, thought I just chose the snack one. Is there a way to get it out of the contest?
