Its a great idea. But I never understand why people think its a good idea to remove the guard from table saws, its just asking for trouble if you ask me.

Nanobis, the guard on the table saw is for the protection of the blade, not your hands. My husband lost half an index finger due to kickback causing the blade guard to slam his finger down onto the saw blade. Power tools are inherently dangerous, the smartest thing to do is to be mindful at all times.

im totally agree with you but i need to remove it every time i use the screw advance boxjoinjig so i'm just super careful when i use it :)
