Introduction: DIY Woodburning Puzzle
This is my DIY Woodburning Puzzle.
Step 1: What You Need
Here is what you need:
- crafting sticks
- a wood burner
- tape
- a pencil
Step 2: Imagine Your Puzzle
Put the crafting sticks togeher like they should be at the end. Depending on how you lay them the puzzle will be harder or easier (for example if you lay them in one line). This is the same with the size of the crafting sticks. If you use big ones it is easier than when you use smaller ones.
Step 3: Motif
Choose your motif. Either print it out or draw it yourself.
For this instructable I used the instructables robot. I printed it out and traced it to a piece of paper to just have the outlines. I uploaded it that you can use it if you want to.

Step 4: Wood Burn Action
Make sure the motif fits onto your puzzle pieces (picture1). Fix it and burn the outlines of your motif with the wood burner. This takes a bit of practice but you´ll get the hang of it. Be careful to not get stuck in between the crafting sticks.
Step 5: There You Go
When you are done remove the paper. You might need to wood burn some lines again because they might be to bright. When that is done you can remove the tape.
Step 6: Try Your Luck
Now you can try to put it back together. Don´t get frustrated, depending on the image and size it might be harder than you thought.
Have fun!

Looks great! So did you just burn the sticks right through your paper design?
