Wooden Chakram Circle of Death

Introduction: Wooden Chakram Circle of Death

About: Come spend some time in the shop. I'm a hobbyist woodworker and professional computer geek in Northern California. I guess my projects will vary widely, and I have no clue what I plan to make next...

A wooden Chakram made from maple and mercilessly hurled in the oncoming enemy hordes.

The famous death circle of the Sikhs, and also wielded by Xena Warrior Princess in the late 1990's. Mine is made from maple and finished boiled linseed oil for a easy to renew finish.

If you round the edge over it then becomes a wooden Aerobie®! It actually flew quite nicely!

Less than 2 hours...The actual wood turning was under 30 minutes.
