This is a clock made of wood. Well, watch the VIDEO first.

Step 1: What You Need

Wooden pieces are designed in Adobe Illustrator and made through laser cutting. You can buy the fixture parts through Taobao. The clock and battery are also from Taobao.

  • Wooden pieces through laser cutting
  • Double-screw bolt (D3 × 50mm) × 4
  • Soket head cap screw (D3×12mm) × 8
  • White rivet (D4 × 12mm) × 8
  • Inner hexagon spanner
  • AA battery

Step 2: Run the Clock

Glue the clock to front wooden piece and put on hands and battery. Rotate the hans to make the time right. OK, you can read the accurate time now.

Step 3: Build the Body

Fix screws and bolts to support the front piece and rear piece.

Step 4: Finish the Shell

The corner piece can be bended to 90°. Take care and fix these pieces on the shell with rivet.

Make screws tight through inner hexagon spanner.

OK, you can put in on your desk and read the time now.

You can see some words on the rear wooden piece, it is "Time is a file that wears and makes no noise."

    Hey, that's a nice looking little clock. I like the bendy corners.

    So this was a kit? About how much did it cost?
