Wooden Fold-out Food/platter Serving Stand.

This little neat fold-out serving stand was designed and built by a mate. All credits go to Richard Weston.
I thought it was such a brilliant idea that I had to share, as I am sure that others would love the design and concept.

Step 1:

Richard simply used 40 year old hardwood which was removed and recycled from an old house that was being renovated.

He used a router to initially form the inner section, and then simply used a chisel to get a nice finish.
