Supplies
- Balsa wood
- Sticks
- Hot glue
- Small wooden glue
- Ru
Step 1: Trim Wings
Trim the wings for aerodynamics.
Step 2: Cut Out Fins
Cut out the back and dorsal fins for the plane.
Step 3: Body
Make the body of the plane by gluing some of the sticks together.
Step 4: Attach Fins
Glue the back fins on and make sure they are perpendicular to the body.
Step 5: Attach Dorsal Fin
Attach the dorsal fin and remember to hold it upright as the glue sets.
Step 6: Prepare Wings
Set up the wings so gluing will be quick and have little room for error.
Step 7: Glue the Wings
Glue on the wings and touch up anywhere that needs it.
Step 8: Throwing Stick
Attach the rubber band knot to the pole.
Step 9: Throw the Plane
Now you cast the plane like you're fishing and watch it glide.
