Introduction: Wristwatch Phone Charger
Don't you hate it when your phone dies but, you need to use it? And then you go and sit by a socket for 30 mins using you ANCHORED phone, well here is the solution. Its a bracelet that charges your phone via 9 Volt battery a little finesse.
Step 1: Bits, Parts and Pieces
You will need...
Car to USB
Nine Volt
Switch
Extra Wire
Hot Glue
Nine Volt Clip and Connector
*Optional*
If you are making Bracelet...
Paracord
Lighter
Craft Buckle
Step 2: Base Work
Start off by Gluing the Circuit board onto the back of the 9 Volt clip.
And Finish by gluing on top the Switch.
Step 3: Wiring and Insulating
Attach the Wires to the 9 volt connector, Switch, and charger board.
Next insulate and glue down with hot glue.
Step 4: Making the Bracelet
Cut two pieces of paracord that are twice the circumference of you wrist.
Melt and glue the ends together as shown in the picture.
Step 5: Finishing the Bracelet
Glue an eight foot piece of paracord to one of the buckles and weave in and out.
When you are done melt onto the other buckle.
Step 6: Finishing Up
Glue the Electronics onto the Bracelet and secure with Paracord.

Does this really work and if so, does the battery give it a full charge? What it's the switch for? The little LED light showing isn't part of the instructions or is that part of the switch. Why not solder instead of hot glue?

Nice idea. It may work more reliably with different types of phones if you powered the device from 12V though. The do sell small 12V batteries, such as the A23 battery, and a few in parallel might work. Just a thought. Great original idea though.

um, but wont it might break the device depending on the amount of volts each type of phone needs? To charge iphones, I think you need a bunch of 9 volt batteries. Great idea though

Very nice. I may try this when I get home. Consider finding a way to case this, because it looks ugly to just carry around.
