Introduction: Xmas Wreath Crochet Ornament

These are small crocheted wreaths designed as ornaments for the Christmas tree. Decorate your Christmas tree with this cute lace crochet wreath ornament. It is quiet simple to make. Gift your loved ones this Christmas these lovely xmas tree ornament. I am sure they would love it, especially when you have made it with your own hands.

Terminology:
Sc – Single Crochet

Dc – Double Crochet

Ch – Chain

Sl St - Slip stitch

Tc - Triple crochet

Materials:

Yarn – green, maroon

Crochet Hook – 4 mm

Needle

Thread


Bangle or round rim

Step 1: Rim

Slip stitch. Sc over the rim of the bangle throughout. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc.

Step 2: Row 1

Row 1: Sc in joining stitch, *chain 5, skip next two sc's, sc in next stitch*. Repeat * to * around. Slip Stitch to the second chain of the first stitch.

Step 3: Row 3

Row 3 - 5 dc in next ch 5 space, sc in next ch 5, repeat around the entire circle. Join w/slip stitch in first sc. The wreath work id done. Fasten the yarn.

Step 4: Bow 1 (1)

Row 1 - Using the red yarn, chain 36.

Row 2: Dc in the 4th chain from the hook, dc in each chain to the end of the row.

Step 5: Bow (2)

  • Row 3: Chain 4, turn, dc in 2nd dc from the hook, *ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next dc,* to end of row.
  • Row 4: Chain 3, turn, dc in each dc and space to the end of the row.
  • Row 5: Sc around the entire block.

Step 6: Bow Final

Hold both short ends together. Slip stitch in each stitch across. Place the ends into the back of the project.

Step 7: Ribbon 1

Make 2 such ribbons.

Row 1: Using red yarn, ch. 12.

Row 2: 3 dc in 3rd stitch from hook, 4 dc in each stitch until the end of chain.

Step 8: Bow Final

Row 2: 3 dc in 3rd stitch from hook, 4 dc in each stitch until the end of chain.

Step 9: Loop

Sl St to the wreath. Chain 15, slip stitch in same stitch to form hook to form loop to hang the wreath from.

Step 10: Sew Them

Using the two ribbons just made, attach to the back of the bow and then attach to the wreath. Sew them all together.
