Introduction: Yummy Banana Bread (from Scratch)
This is my first instructable. And this is banana bread I made... from scratch. Comment below and tell me what u think. If I get enough good comments I might try another instructable!!!
Step 1: Ingredients and Supplies Needed
Here's what you'll need:
3/4 cup of sugar
1 stick of softened butter
2 eggs
2 mashed very ripe bananas
1/3 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (I used almond extract)
2 cups of all- purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
a mixer

Step 2: Mixing and Oven Temperature
Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a very large bowl, beat the sugar & softened butter with mixer until light and fluffy. Then add your 2 eggs to mixture and beat until mixed in we'll. Add the mashed bananas, milk, & vanilla extract then mix until well blended.
Step 3: Dry Ingredients & Adding Them to Wet Mixture
In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda & salt by hand very well. Then add to wet mixture all at once & mix with mixer until dry mixture is all mixed in well.
Step 4: Oven Time
Put mixture into your pan and put in the oven at 350°F for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick/fork inserted in center comes out clean.
Step 5: Cooling
Cool for 5-10 minutes then remove from pan on to cooling rack for 1 hour.
Step 6: Slice and Serve
After cooled off, slice and enjoy. Put extras in container and put in fridge for later!!! Hope u liked this instructable!!!
